Our event planning services are comprehensive and include venue selection, vendor coordination, event design and decor, catering management, entertainment booking, and on-site event management. We ensure every detail is attended to, from initial planning stages to final execution.
We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure the best selection of dates and services. For weddings and large corporate events, booking at least 6-12 months in advance is ideal. However, we can often accommodate shorter timelines, so please don’t hesitate to contact us with your needs.
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as flexible as possible. If you need to cancel or reschedule your event, please contact us at your earliest convenience. Fees and available options may vary depending on the timing of the cancellation and the specific arrangements made for your event.

What is the Blush & Brush Experience?
The Blush & Brush Experience is your wedding morning DREAM TEAM! We are an all-in-one full service Beauty Concierge that brings you Bridal Hair, Bridal Makeup, & Day-Of Event Coordination from one place. The Blush & Brush Experience is unlike any other bridal beauty vendor as we not only provide top tier hair & makeup, but our service comes complete with a dedicated Personal Event Stylist to manage your entire morning & bring all your wedding day dreams to life!
Do you travel outside of the Blush & Brush Suite for services?
Yes! Blush & Brush will travel to your home, hotel, or venue to conduct services. We travel throughout NJ, the Tri-State area, across the 50 states, and even to destinations outside of the USA. All services rendered outside of the Blush & Brush Beauty Suite will be subject to a Travel Fee.
Which days/weekends are subject to a Holiday Rate Increase?

What is the Holiday Rate Increase?
The Holiday Rate Increase is 15% of the Grand Total.
When should I book Hair & Makeup?
We recommend booking as far in advance as possible. We book anywhere from 6 to 24 months out so if you feel we are the right fit, please do not delay!
Is a deposit/contract required to secure my date?
Yes! A signed contract and 50% nonrefundable deposit payment are required to reserve our stylists for your date.
Is there a client minimum for services?
Yes! We require both a 5-client minimum for hair AND a 5-client minimum for makeup to reserve our team. If you do not meet this minimum, we do have a convenience fee that can be applied.
Can I request specific stylists?
Yes! Stylists may be requested and honored subject to their availability.
How long does it take to have hair & makeup done?
For the Bride: About 1 hour & 15 - 1 hour & 30 minutes is taken for each service.For the Bridal Party: Typically 45 minutes - 1 hour is taken for each service.
Can I book another company to work alongside the Blush & Brush team?
No. Our model is unique in that we plan your entire morning start to finish via your Full Service Beauty Concierge. We pride ourselves on our ability to work as a well-oiled machine ensuring your wedding day timeline is kept on track. Having a secondary team would restrict us from being able to control the morning and could result in falling behind. For this reason, we require to be the Exclusive Beauty Vendor on-site. Our team is expansive enough to handle the largest of bridal parties with ease.
What if there is an emergency, do you have backup stylists for my big day?
Yes! We know how important this day is to you and would never jeopardize your dream glam! Our team is expansive and we reserve a backup artist/stylist for all events to fill in if absolutely necessary. We create a thorough bridal profile for you & your look that can be seamlessly transferred from one artist to another if an emergency situation were to arise.
Should I/my bridal party bring inspiration photos?
Yes please! Inspo will help us best understand the client's vision or allow us to piece together different styles if undecided. Our artists will help you choose the best look for you!
Should I/my bridal party bring inspiration photos?
We accept Zelle, cash, credit card, and check. A 50% Nonrefundable Deposit Payment is required at the time of booking and the Final Balance must be paid in full no later than two weeks before the event date. (Please Note: Credit card payments will be subject to an additional 3% processing fee)We do not handle any monetary exchange on the Day-Of except for gratuity.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuity is not included in our pricing. We suggest 18-20% for fabulous service. You are welcome to pay gratuity up front along with the final balance or gratuity can be paid directly to our stylists in cash or via Venmo.
Do you create a schedule for the day of the event?
Yes! We create a thorough schedule for the morning and provide a Morning Prep Plan to be shared with the entire bridal party ensuring total timeliness and preparedness on all fronts!
Do you offer touch-ups?
Yes! We offer and highly recommend our Extended Styling add-on. This add-on can be applied solely for the bride or to be shared across the entire bridal party. In our opinion, this will be the best money that you spend on your wedding day. No bride should be without her styling team until the reception. If there was a day you were going to feel like a celebrity, this should be the day. It is a service you didn't know you needed but you absolutely do!
Am I responsible if someone in my bridal party backs out at the last minute?
Yes. You are obligated to commit to the numbers agreed upon when you book our team.
Can you accommodate last minute / day of requests?
If time and artist availability allows. It is in your best interest to make additions known as far in advance as possible so that we may staff properly and allocate time accordingly.
What I my start time?
Your Start time is determined by your photo ready time. We alot 5 hours for styling. We will send as many stylist as needed to complete you and your bridal part in that time frame.
A preview is HIGHLY recommended to gain comfort & trust in your Artists, your Event Stylist, and the styles you've chosen! It gives you the opportunity to see your finished look with hair & makeup and gives us dedicated time to get to know you and your expectations for the big day! The trial is the first step for your Beauty Concierge to begin creating your personalized wedding day experience.
We recommend booking your preview between 6 months to 1 year out from the wedding day.
What if I didn't get my dress yet?
This is no problem for us but it is totally up to your personal comfortability. Oftentimes, our brides prefer to have the dress before nailing down a hairstyle. Others know exactly what they want and are happy to trial without the dress. Up to you, beautiful! Our only caution - don't delay booking our team until after finding the dress! It's highly recommended if you like our work & what we offer our brides, book us first and then we can schedule the trial at your leisure!
Unfortunately, no. Our stylists are largely booked for events on weekends all year round. We can accommodate week day/evening appointments!
Can I come after work or should I plan to take the day off?
Either! We are happy to welcome you for evening appointments. However - if you can swing it - we'd highly recommend that you treat yourself to the day off! This is one of the most fun pre-wedding activities and we want you to relax and enjoy every minute of the pampering! The wedding day is all about YOU - let us help you get used to how that feels at your trial experience!
All trials are booked at our Beauty Suite located inside the Rockleigh. Our address is 26 Paris Ave., Rockleigh, NJ 07647. A member of our team will meet you in the lobby to escort you to our Suite.
No. You want to be able to leave your preview having seen your full blown look for the wedding day (which obviously would not be the same look you'll be going for at the shower or any other photographed event!) Our preview experience is unlike any other! It's approximately 3 hours and we utilize every minute getting to know all about you and your expectations for the big day, while pampering and beautifying of course! We want you to feel completely relaxed and not a sense of needing to rush out!
Another reason to take the day off of work for your preview - plan a whole "Wedding Prep" day of it! Our top recommendation would be to schedule a dress fitting/appointment after your preview so you can see the whole look come together as one.... and then maybe reservations for a happy hour with the girls or date night with your hubby-to-be!
Yes! We ask that you only have one-two guests accompany you for your preview. We offer and highly suggest bringing Mom or your Maid of Honor and having them preview their day-of look as well! Please Note: This unique preview experience is for adults only - no children please! :)
It depends. If you are (spray/bed) tanning for your wedding day, you should (spray/bed) tan for your preview. You want to aim to be the same complexion for your preview as you plan to be for your wedding day so that you can see the finished look. For our top pick, we recommend Brushed Tanning in Wycoff, NJ.
HAIR
How should I prepare my hair before receiving services?
Hair should be washed the day before receiving services. You can blow dry your hair OR allow it to air dry. DO NOT use any flat/curling irons on your hair! DO NOT apply any product to your hair. Hair should be clean & dry when you arrive!
Do I have to use extensions?
99% of the time yes. Extensions are crucial to create almost all bridal hairstyles and ensure staying power for your look.
Do you provide the extensions?
Yes! We color match you at the trial, then we purchase and professionally wash & prep your extensions for the big day.
Can I bring my own extensions?
No. Extensions have become largely available to consumers at highly competitive rates. We purchase premium grade 100% human hair extensions from only the most reputable companies to ensure quality and cost. Remember, we are your full service Beauty Concierge - we professionally wash and prep your hair extensions for proper installation on your wedding day and provide you with best practices to keep them strong & healthy for years to come.
How much do extensions cost?
Cost for extensions will vary based on length, color, and amount needed. Most looks can be achieved using one bundle of hair extensions which will cost around $250.00.
Can my bridal party use hair extensions?
Yes! They can purchase pieces through us day-of. If a bridal party member chooses to bring their own for our stylists to install, please have them make sure that the extensions are 100% human hair. We cannot use synthetic or synthetic-blend products. Installing hair extensions is subject to an additional cost.

Do you provide headpieces or veils?
Yes! We have an extensive collection of luxury headpieces, vines, & hairpins available for sale at our Beauty Suite. We do not sell veils but can provide you with a list of recommended retailers.
MAKEUP
How should I prepare my face for makeup application?
Your face should be completely clean and moisturized on arrival. We HIGHLY recommend dermaplaning 4-6 days before your makeup application to ensure the ultimate canvas for your artist to work.

Are lashes included in makeup application prices?
Yes! All makeup application comes complete with premium faux strip or individual lashes. Lashes are a must - they are what makes the look!
Does the makeup artist give me a lipstick to reapply?
Yes. We provide a small touch-up kit for the Bride for the evening. Upon request, we have full size lipsticks/kits available for purchase.
SKIN
Should I spray tan for my wedding day?
This is completely up to you and your personal preference. DO NOT spray tan for the first time for your wedding day! You MUST trial a spray tan ahead of time to ensure you are happy with the final look.
Should I get a facial before the wedding?
YES! Your skincare journey should begin (if it hasn’t already) the second you get engaged. Ideally, you should be on a proper skincare regimen & receiving quarterly facials one year out from your wedding day. Your final facial before the big day should take place 15 - 30 days out.
What is Dermaplaning? Do I need to get this?
YES! 1000 times yes! Dermaplaning removes all of the dead skin and peach fuzz from the top layer of your face. It allows the makeup to sit much nicer and last far longer on the skin. It is a game changer for makeup application and appearance in photos! Trust us, you NEED this! Dermaplaning should be done 4-6 days out from the wedding day.
Do you recommend an Esthetician?
Absolutely! We highly recommend that every bride works with an esthetician. We’d be delighted to discuss this further during your bridal preview.
